FIND YOUR EDGE · PRE-SEASON ATHLETE SESSION

Want to find your edge before pre-season?

Two hours with two current AFLW players. Your footballer gets tested, coached and sent home with a profile.

Sat 14 Nov · 9-11am · Brighten Homes Arena, Springfield · Ages 15–17 · $255

Only 40 spots: 20 boys, 20 girls.

Most juniors walk into pre-season guessing.

They train hard. But they don’t know what they’re actually good at, or what’s holding them back.

So they work on the wrong things. Or nothing specific at all. Then pre-season finds the gaps for them.

You see the effort. What’s missing is direction.

Find Your Edge fixes that in one morning: real tests, real coaching, and a clear answer to “what should I work on?”

What happens on the day

Two hours. Six blocks. Boys and girls train in separate groups for the main coaching.

  1. Warm-up and reaction games. Everyone together. Agility and reaction games to get switched on.

  2. Strength and core · with Cathy. Bracing, tackle stability and balance. Includes a plank test.

  3. Speed and agility · with Cathy. Acceleration, knee-safe stopping and reactive agility. Includes a bounding test.

  4. Football skills · with Belle. Handballs, ground balls, kicking on the run, and kicking on both feet under pressure.

  5. Rainbow Road and conditioning game. [One line on what Rainbow Road is], then a pre-season-style conditioning game.

  6. My Next Level. Each athlete names their weapons and the one area they’ll attack next.

What they walk away with

  • Athlete Development Worksheet. Their own ratings on football skills and physical attributes, side by side with their real test scores from the day.

  • Personal scorecard. Plank time, bound steps, agility and balance scores. A baseline to beat.

  • Free 4-week follow-up plan. Built around the growth area they chose, with a retest at the end to prove the progress.

  • Clarity. They’ll know exactly what to work on before pre-season. No more guessing.

Numbers on the day. Numbers again four weeks later. You’ll see exactly what changed.
